Over the years, I have attended numerous Equine events including the annual Horse Expo in Albany, OR where I have observed clinicians like Jane Savoie, John Lyons, Craig Cameron, as well as many others and have participated as either a rider or auditor at Walter Zettl, Buck Brannaman, Mark Rashid, Clinton Anderson and Parelli clinics. I have completed  32 hours of coursework with the Certified Horsemanship Association for instructors.  I am also an experienced barefoot trimmer through clinics with Pete Ramey and supervised instruction from certified trimmers. I owned and operated the online video rental service “Your Horse Matters”, offering horsemanship and riding DVDs to clients in all 50 states.  I am a retired certified Physician’s Assistant with 30 years of experience in medicine including surgery and family practice. I have taught Human Anatomy and Physiology at Lower Columbia College in the Allied Health professionals department. I also graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and secondary education and have extensive experience in lecturing and group presentations.
